Hunter Lennox is all wrong for me.

 

I need a particular type of man in my life. Someone like me. Ambitious, stable, and preferably from my parents’ immigrant culture. And musician-turned-barista Hunter doesn’t check any of those boxes.

 

But he makes me feel alive. And wild. And free.

 

Which is how I ended up in bed with him once before, without even knowing his name. And that was crazy enough (and hotter than any fantasy). But now we’re thrown together as best man and bridesmaid in the same wedding. And the pull between us is stronger than ever.

 

So instead of walking away like I know I should, I decide to give in and kiss him. Just once. Then I’ll walk out of the elevator and put him behind me.

 

But Hunter doesn’t let me go. And secretly, I don't want him to.
